Gidday Unsigned Kiwi listeners,

Well hands up everyone who wants the Podcast re-started I say? Ha LOL well I'm very surprised my subscriber numbers haven't dropped since Episode 2 which was back on the 28th of November so, I must be doing something right I guess to keep you all hanging on for more. SO I WILL GET THIS MACHINE GOING AGAIN!!!

To put everyone in the picture to what has happened in my last 3 months during my break from podcasting I have started an exciting day job which involes sourcing and securing Advertising dollars for the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce region's Buisness magazine. Which also involves one or two nights a week with extra networking events to meet lots of positive business people which is far better than what the media report everyday in a so called depression (nah not in New Zealand).

A strong supply of music submissions for my podcast have kept flowing into my inbox too right through December and onwards.

AND then I took a serious look at www.powerhousemixradio.com in early February 2009, which I knew of as my mate Paul Elliott in Scotland hosts the Scottish Metal show on PowerHouseMix Radio already.

Next I had Five hard case Americans natting to me on Yahoo Messanger Conference calling to quiz me out to which I charmed them or maybe just Jessica Wlyde (the Internet Station Owner) :-) .

So now I'm very excited and proud to say I ALSO have a Four Hour Live "Kiwi Rock Show" every Friday night from 8pm-Midnight New Zealand Time streaming on a U.S based Internet Radio Station (How many Kiwi's can say that!!!????? - ummmmm ME).

The music I play on www.powerhousemixradio.com is mainly mainstream rock from anywhere in the world but, me being who I am want all of New Zealand's signed label artist's to contact me and send me there entire music catalogue to plug the hell out for the New Zealand music scene.

I have a new myspace of www.myspace.com/DJKiwiRocker and new email of djkiwirocker@yahoo.co.nz for anyone to contact me and add DJ KiwiRocker which is my new DJ name on www.powerhousemixradio.com.

My microphone voice confidence is growing strong and I have tons of various thoughts of shows and therefore I also see a need for me to get my podcast going again this time with more regular shows to highlight the massive music library I have these days of Unsigned and Indie content.

Unsigned Kiwi - Update

Gidday Unsigned Kiwi listeners,


A little update for you since I havn't recorded a show since the 28th of November. With the busy Christmas season upon us now, I've had more than a few things to do.


Along with the Christmas present shopping I've had FOUR offers of employment within a week which was totally unexpected and never thought it could happen to me. I've now got it down to two offers with the final decision to be made in the next few days.


Then is my iTunes and now iPod problems occured (which helps me stay organised & upto date with my new unsigned music). With iTunes I've discovered that I some how deleted a very important file called 'iTunes Music Libary.xml' which now dosen't save any mp3's to iTunes and yesterday my iPod lost all its settings and won't sync with my computer and to top it off it tells me I can't even do an iPod restore to factory settings so next I'm at the mercy of an iPod/iTunes retail shop to repair it.


I will try to get a show out before Christmas day and THANKS to all my subcribers so far for not leaving and having faith that I'm still here to bring you great new music. And just maybe Santa will bring me a new iPod to fix all my music settings problems I have with my iTunes files.
